Awards and Icons

Our team has won a number of awards and created some icons and figures that have graced all our robots.

Our Logo
TechBrick Logo Our logo was designed in LDraw by Amy and later converted to postscript for publication use.
Our Mascot
Techbrick Mascot Parrot This is an 18" tall model of a the actual LEGO Parrot. The small parrot has ridden on every robot we've made since the beginning.
Our Minifig
Techbrick Minifig in Uniform We made a minifig to match our uniforms.
2007 Coveted Lansdale Catholic Gracious Professionalism Award
TechBrick was awarded the coveted Lansdale Catholic Gracious Professional award at the scrimmage at the Dec 17, 2007, scrimmage along with six other teams.

2004 First LEGO League Maryland State Tournament: Technical Presentation Award
Techbrick: 2004 First Lego League Maryland State Tournament: Technical Presentation Award In our first year our team received a Technical Presentation Award for innovative engineering.

One of the key elements was a 1200% improvement in the old RCX light sensor. They attached a LEGO 'Spiderman' inspector magnifying glass the focused the light out to about 12" (both send and receive.)

Techbrick VEX: 2006 VEX New Jersey State Tournament: Innovate Award Our VEX team in it's first year was award the 'Innovate Award' for a sophisticated drive system and lifting device.
