Five months of hard work in programming, building and research resulted in two awards at the MD State Tournament and an invitation to the US Championships in Dayton, OH on May 7-9, 2009 where they will compete against the best 60 teams in the United States. Three successful state tournaments (MD, DE, and NJ) that resulted in two awards has qualified our team for the World Championship in Atlanta GA on April 16-18 where they will compete against the top 100 FTC teams in the world and will join 10,000 other world-class young engineers, ages 7-18, from 30 countries, competing in three programs.
