Applebee's Fundraiser: We had a Great Event-Based Fundraiser at Applebee's: Check it out...

In some parts of the country Applebee's restaurants offer a fantastic fundraiser. You sell tickets for $5-7 dollars. You help staff an all-you-eat hotcakes and sausage breakfast. You pay Applebee's $1.50 per ticket used. Many sports teams in our area have earned $1500-2000 in one morning with tips. There are variations on this program based on local ownership. Just stop in and ask.

Then check out the photos below.  Note: We blurred our FTC bot on purpose. It's just that cool.

Special thanks to:

First we were trained by the management since we had to do all the serving.

Then we setup the kitchen and everyone pitched in to do plate prep.

The Applebee's cook and pre cook rocked and kept our plates full.

Everyone took a prep station and kept the hot plate moving out to the customers.

Then our friends began arriving.

Steve Gambrill, the extreme balloon man kept everyone entertained with balloons and magic tricks.

Team members took a break to grab some breakfast.

Maryland head judge, John Schnell stopped by. Of course he paid for his own meal.

FTC 7 talked more than 100 people about our FLL, FTC and JrFLL programs and demonstrated their 2007 robot.

And everyone posed with the Star Wars dudes.
