 Firmware
1.26 has a number of freezing
problems. This came with
the educational version.
LEGO®
MINDSTORMS® NXT Firmware V1.28
will fix some of the bugs found
in 1.26
How do I know what version
of the firmware is installed in
my brick?
On your brick go to Settings
-> Scroll to NXT Version -> it
will be the top line.
Download the LEGO MINDSTORMS
NXT Firmware V1.28 from here...

To install LEGO MINDSTORMS
NXT Firmware Version 1.28 please
unzip the file to the following
folder:
...\Program Files\LEGO
Software\LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT\engine\Firmware
After relaunching LEGO
MINDSTORMS NXT Software, select
the "Tools" menu, then select
"Update NXT Firmware...".
LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT Firmware
v1.28 should now be available
within the "Available Firmware
Files". Select the file and
press "Download".
