Presentation Products

As part of our research project we visited the home of a friend who has MS. From our time with him and other research we came up with three product solutions to meet specific needs for problems that he and his wife have daily.

Opposite Gender Assisting Sign

One of the problems our friend with MS has is that his wife cannot help in the bathroom when they are out  in public.

[see next paragraph]

We designed a sign with a hangar and a magnet that she can use to place on the door of public bathroom to alert other patrons to her presence.
Push-Ums

Push-Ums are small devices that can be used to record important messages. All the disable person has to do is hit the large, felt, button and they can hear the message or instruction.

The house we visited had post-its all over to remind our friend to do various tasks. However, he is having trouble reading. Now he can hear his wif'e instructions.

Lazarus Pillow

Our friend with MS is in a wheelchair. He often falls down and has to lie on the floor until someone comes home.

The Lazarus pillow is designed to be worn and if he falls, it can be inflated to lift up his torso to a more comfortable position.
