Friday Night LEGO Club Tests Their Bridge Building Skills
On Friday night, March 30, 2007, about 30 budding engineers took
the challenge of building bridges with LEGOs in our Second Annual
Bridge Building and Destruction night. After an introduction to
bridges, the kids were divided up into 6 groups and each group had
to build a sample of one the bridge types. When they were ready,
their bridge was tested by stacking wooden blocks on the bridge
until it broke. The main bridge building concluded with an Oreo
Cookie Building contest (which our dog, Alexa, loved). Photos are
