LEGO Movie Night IV: Five Parables
The Action
 On Friday night, November 2, 2007, about 24
young animators joined us for our fourth annual
LEGO animation night. We set up five
animation stations with 5-6 animators and 2-3
producers (adults). Each group was given a set
(see The Setup) and a
story sheet [PDF] to work from
with the key points. They had about an hour to
shoot their frames. Then while having a snack
and watching "Wallace and Gromit" as
an example. We quickly
converted their work into a final movie and showed it
to them before they left (see
The Movie).
