Sample Scoring Sheet for Power Puzzle

UPDATED WITH NEW SCORING
Revised: 10/14/2007 9:00 am EDT
with help from Craig Colvin and The Wiz Kids in San Jose, CA.; ‘I See Energy’ icNRG.nl; Bill Nussey; Linda Barrington; Joshua Heinzl and The New England Robotics Designers.

Oct 14, 2007:  Thanks to Lucy Berlin, head coach of NRG Bots of Saratoga, CA for a major overhaul reflecting the numerous Q&As.

NEW: Extra column with max points, improved language to reflect Q&As

We have found that it helps to start scoring runs early in the process. In our first years we waited until the last few weeks and then scrambled to get it done within 2.5 minutes. It is important to started time runs early on. If forces efficiency and gives the teams an idea of just how short 150 seconds is when under pressure.

Given the complexity of the scoring I'm sure there will be changes.
