Oct 19, 2013 Duel on the Delaware FRC/FTC Off-Season Scrimmage

On Saturday, October 19, 2013  TechBrick's FRC and FTC teams attended the Duel on the Delaware, at Salem Community College in NJ and sponsored by MOE265. DOTD is an annual off-season scrimmage for FRC and learning session for FTC teams, many who are seeing the full size field for the first time.

Our FRC team took its 2013 robot out for its last run for before beginning a full rebuild for the upcoming season.  The robot ran well and we ended up as the fourth seated team. We were eliminated in the second round of the finals but had a great run. We broke a wheel, sheared a bolt, but kept running.

Our FTC  teams had a great time on their first team event. They enjoyed the help of many of the experts in attendance. They were able to complete their test robots and get it programmed and operational. They are now energized and excited about tackling a fully featured robot for this year's challenge.
