Monday, Oct 21, 2013, TechBrick was invited to
provide a display at the National Instruments NI
Days in Washington DC.
National Instruments provides hardware and
software that is used in almost every sector of
manufacturing and research around the world. A
special version of their LabView software is
used to program JrFLL, FLL, FTC, and FTC robot
Ananya, Ashley, Amos, Ignacio, Jonathan, and
Alexandra, along with Marco and Tim, staffed our
booth. Throughout the day they spoke to many
industry leaders and executives with energy and
enthusiasm. In fact, Marco and Tim largely
watched because of how well our students
communicated our work.
For our students, it was their first trade show
and they worked hard all day. We ended up at
Red Brick Station (http://redbrickstation.com)
in Whitemarsh, one of our sponsors, who hosted
us for a great end-of-day debrief and dinner.
